George is a Norwegian mixing and mastering engineer. Mixing and mastering music in many different genres, always adding his own sensibility and touch.
Whether it be mixing or mastering a project he always puts his heart into his work, striving to give the music a timeless and unique sound, and to bring out the core emotion of a song.
George started out engineering in Oslo, but has also spent several years working with producer Martin Terefe at his Kensaltown Studios in London. During that time he got to work with some great artist like Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens), James Morrison, Travis, Ron Sexsmith, A-ha, Teitur and Martha Wainwright to mention a few.
He’s currently working at his own studio, Tanderø Mastering, in Oslo, Norway. During the past few years he’s worked with artists such as Siri Nilsen, Kari Bremnes, Tommy Tokyo, Bjørn Eidsvåg, Jarle Bernhoft, Satyricon, Donkeyboy, CC Cowboys and more.
The studio is based around a lovely API1608 console, Pro Tools, Wavelab and Sequoia in combination with both classic and modern equipment from Buzz Audio, Forssell, Pendulum, Shadow Hills, Retro Instruments, Dangerous, Foote Control and Thermionic Culture.
